Hailed as the darlings of Italian fashion, these young masters are at the forefront of a new generation in Milan! Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi take pride in their Italian heritage, and naturally, a deep respect of craftsmanship. Maximalists at heart, the men behind the label also strive to bring a high fashion sensibility to modern day ready-to-wear, with breathtaking results. Having crossed paths at the design studios of MaxMara in the late Nineties, Tommaso and Roberto teamed up to win Vogue’s “Who’s On Next” emerging designers competition in 2005. The same year, the pair debuted their first label, 6267 to promising reviews. In 2008, the designers were tapped to helm the iconic house of Gianfranco Ferre, where they were creative directors until 2011. During their tenure, the talented twosome relaunched their own line under a new name- Aquilano.Rimondi.
