Clipper: The Race Of Their Lives

In this episode of The Race of Their Lives, the eleven amateur crews face up to the big one, the Might Pacific….it’s a 5,600 nautical mile race into the remotest area on the planet, the Pacific Ocean. Half way across, a series of major low pressure systems it the fleet hard. Gusts are recorded at over 100 miles an hour, and waves build to 90 feet/30m in height as the massive walls of water batter the yachts.
