Ten 60 feet long boats had gathered in Lorient La Base, Britany in western france, from September 22nd to 24th for the 7th edition of the Azimut Challenge. These are not any random boats: we are talking about IMOCAs, cutting edge technology crafts that confront each other every four years for the most prestigious of all solo races around globe: the famous Vendée Globe.
